Members
A member is somebody who can access your project. You add them on your project’s Members page.
You invite by email address
Section titled “You invite by email address”A member is somebody who accepted an invitation. You type their email address on the Members page, pick a role, and we send them a link.
Nothing changes on your project until they accept. They appear under Invited until then, and nobody on that list can see anything of yours.
It works the same way whether or not they already have a Tormoni account. If they do, the link asks them to sign in and accept. If they do not, the same link offers to create an account first. You are not told which — the reply is identical either way, on purpose, so nobody can use this page to find out whether a given address belongs to a customer here.
What the link is
Section titled “What the link is”The link is the invitation. Treat it like a password:
- It expires, and it works once.
- Only the address you typed can accept it. Forwarding it to somebody else does not let them in — they are told which address to sign in with, and nothing is granted.
- Inviting the same address again replaces the previous link, which stops working at that moment.
- You can withdraw it at any time from the Invited list, and the link dies immediately.
We show you the link once, when you send it, so you can pass it on yourself if the mail does not arrive. It is not shown again anywhere.

The owner is the account creator. It is not a role you can grant, and there is no second one.
A member’s role is set when you invite them and can be changed on the roster at any time. Changing it takes effect on their next request.
Removing, and leaving
Section titled “Removing, and leaving”Removing a member stops their access from that moment. To let them back in, invite them again.
Leaving is the same act from the other end, and it is on the same page: the projects you belong to are listed under the roster, each with a Leave.
Deleting your own account removes every membership you gave and every one you hold.
Members are free
Section titled “Members are free”A member is never priced. There is no seat, no per-member ceiling, and no tier that lets in more people than another. A tier differs in bytes kept and days kept — see Billing & plans.
